We used the same gearing (total length and in-board) as with the traditional blades.  This seemed to work fine and we found we could sustain a slightly higher rating with the cuts.  Also we all liked the way the blade holds the water all the way through to the finish.  In a nutshell, everyone in the crew was positive about the experience of using them.
